    Work of Georges Léon Alfred Perrichon (1830-1907), French painter of genre, landscapes and also engraver of exception. He is the student of the brilliant Jacques Lavieille (engraver died in 1862) and begins to exhibit at the Paris Salon in 1864. He paints remarkably the landscapes of the surroundings of Paris and Normandy.
    Here, the work of G. Perrichon is beautiful light and the natural tones are transmitted with brio.

    Painting in very good condition. Canvas impeccable, tense and flat. Pictorial surface free from lack. Varnish in good condition. No restoration to predict.

    Modern frame in gilded wood good condition. A few signs of use.

    Presence on the back of the canvas of a mention indicating the purchase in auction room in 1946.

    Dimensions of the canvas: 46 cm X 38 cm; 60.5 cm X 52.5 cm frame included.

    Œuvre de Georges Léon Alfred Perrichon (1830-1907), peintre français de genre, de paysages et également graveur d'exception. Il est l'élève du brillant Jacques Lavieille (graveur mort en 1862) et commence à exposer au Salon de Paris en 1864. Il peint remarquablement les paysages des environs de Paris et de Normandie.

     

    Ici le travail de G. Perrichon est magnifique de luminosité et les tonalités naturelles sont transmises avec brio.

     

    Tableau en très bon état. Toile impeccable, tendue et plane. Surface picturale exempte de manque. Vernis en bon état. Pas de restauration à prévoir.

     

    Cadre moderne en bois doré bon état général. A signaler quelques traces d'usage.

     

    Présence au dos de la toile d'une mention indiquant l'achat en salle de ventes en 1946.
