    Academic portrait of a mature man with arms wide open. Strong presumption of belonging to the work of Félix Alfred Bonnet (born in 1847, died around 1925), French painter of genre. He would have performed this youth academy during his studies.
    Monogram at the lower left corner, tricky to decipher.
    Presence of Swedish inscriptions visibly in ink on the chassis: "Painting which belonged to Sorensen" and "by Bonnet".

    Painting in excellent condition, canvas and frame. Clean pictorial surface, free from lack, varnish in good condition.
    Modern gilded wooden frame and quality in very good condition. Framing done by a professional.

  • Description de l'œuvre

    Portrait académique d'un homme mature les bras grands ouverts. Forte présomption d'appartenance à l'oeuvre de Félix Alfred Bonnet (né en 1847, mort vers 1925), peintre français de genre. Il aurait exécuté cette académie jeune durant ses études.

    Monogramme à l'angle inférieur gauche, délicat à déchiffrer.
    Présence d'inscriptions suédoises visiblement à l'encre sur le châssis : "Tableau ayant appartenu à Sorensen" et "par Bonnet".

    Tableau en excellent état, toile et châssis. Surface picturale propre, exempte de manque, vernis en bon état.
    Cadre en bois doré moderne et de qualité en très bon état. Encadrement réalisé par un professionnel.
